A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Andrew received his Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology with emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. He earned his AB degree from Wabash College and has a Bible Certificate from Puget Sound Christian College. Andrew works with individuals, couples, and families and has worked with the treatment of anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, sexual abuse, relationship issues, and substance abuse. He has experience leading group therapy. While working with a wide range of clients, he particularly enjoys working with tween, teen, and adult males and couples.
He has prior clinical experience at New Direction for Youth (N. Hollywood) focused on inner-city youth, Ventura Counseling Center (Ventura) working family, couples, and individuals, Aegis Treatment Center (Oxnard) working with opioid addiction, and St. Vincent Stress Center (Indianapolis) where he lead adolescent group therapy addressing substance use and mental health issues. He has training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Mindfulness, and Emotionally Focus Family Therapy. His theoretical orientation can be described as person centered and he believes the goal in therapy is to improve the self through increased awareness.
Andrew believes everyone has a story that is effected by their experiences and systems. He sees mental and spiritual health as an essential part of living life to the fullest. Andrew believes in treating the whole person focusing on spiritual, physical, and emotional techniques to create new ways of living.
